About Red Tie Products
& Its People

Red Tie Products opened in May of 2008 and is entirely run by author Paul (Paul Nandzik) with the help of his wife, Marie Nandzik; long-time friend, Vinnie Russo; and faithful mascot, Mr. Grammar.
Paul decided to start his novelty t-shirt business because of his love of language, comedy, and education as well as his frustration with the abuse and misuse of language.
Although Paul was the definitive brainchild of the Grammar Matters designs, he relied on Julia Eggers to bring his vision to life. Julia, as well as long-time friend Anthony Ferrell, contributed a few of their own visions to the stack of designs as well before moving on to bigger and better things.
Since Paul is an optimist and a humanist, he believes in treating people with dignity and respect, so all products are guaranteed to be produced ethically and - when possible - eco-friendly, so you should feel extra good about ordering with us. By the end of 2012/beginning of 2013, Paul would also like to be a company that offers products manufactured entirely in the United States of America.
Since Marie loves jewelry and fashion, she struck a deal with Paul to expand Red Tie Products' catalog to include handcrafted jewelry, most of which is produced by Marie herself. This expansion does business as Red Tie Jewelry.
Paul loves getting feedback from customers - especially customers who become friends, so please feel welcome to stalk him, er, I mean, keep in touch.
Oh, and if you have any photos of you and your friends wearing our designs, whether jewelry or silk-screened, we've love to see them and post them on the web for everyone to enjoy how totally awesome you are. :)

Spotlight on Mr. Grammar™

In Mr. Grammar's neverending quest to highlight the absolute joy of wordplay and reversing the stereotype that grammar is somehow boring or irrelevent, he inadvertantly became a crime fighter. To quote the Department of Justice,
The link between academic failure and delinquency, violence, and crime is welded to reading failure.
Mr. Grammar's responsibilities within the company include traveling on business, making guest appearances, posing for photographs, promoting education, fighting crime, besting grammaticasters, and redeeming the undead.

Product Highlight

Our Grammar Matters™ designs promote literacy (as well as hilarity), and we use econscious brand totes (100% certified organic/recycled cotton) and Gildan brand t-shirts (produced in Nicaragua without the use of sweatshops, child labor, or forced labor).
The Gildan t-shirts are pre-shrunk, 6.1 oz/square yard with an ultra tight knit, a seamless double-needle sleeve and bottom hem, and quarter turned in order to eliminate the center crease.
All tote bags measure 11.5" x 14.5" x 5", feature a gusseted bottom, longer length self-fabric handles that fit comfortably over the shoulder, and weigh a mere seven ounces. And because they're made out of 100% certified organic/recycled cotton, we're keeping millions of pounds of harmful chemicals out of the environment each year.
All our jewelry is handcrafted by various jewelers, most of whom use high quality materials including Swarovsky crystals, gemstones, sterling silver, gold, freshwater pearls, and so on.
